I think we should all make sure we have pics of us with our radio gear, for the memorial.
Unfortunately our earthly communications treasures will be the next generations estate sale..... Hopefully we can wear out our gear before pass on from this life. I'm dang sure gonna give it a good try during this sun cycle anyway haaaa
When that day comes, unless I get hit by a bus sooner, I plan on being down to one or two radios that the XYL can sell on fleabay. Any sooner and she gets a whole bunch of radios to sell on fleabay which she'll probably dump at a yard sale for 5 or 10 bucks a piece instead.
"I'm taking one radio with me, and giving one of the other radio's to my daughter. I'll tell her if the skip is right, expect a call from me."

Two grand ideas!
I'm leaving my two classics to my daughter and her boys; Cobra 2000 and D-104 Golden Eagle. As well as a 3-Pill; none of which are useful without a Imax 2000 GPK 103.
The rest, numerous radios and the power to reach across this flat earth, to my son. He's not and neither is my daughter interested in radio at the moment; but, anything is possible. You don't know fun til you've had some.

we simply possess our firearms,radios fishing tackle etc. we kick the bucket n somebody else enjoys our hard earned treasures.
