I'm no amp builder, but lets do some math anyway (and if I'm wrong, perhaps someone here who actually builds amps can correct me).


Let's start with the suggested 100w (even though the IMD is rapidly increasing at that wattage according to the Toshiba datasheet).  Assuming 65% efficiency for class C running at 12.5v, that comes out to 154watts, or 12.32A of current.  If we multiply that 12.32A by the output impedance listed for that part (call it |Z| = 1.05) we get 12.936v dropping across the part.  We are already making that transistor slam its head against the voltage rail...  Are you sure you want to push 20A of current through that part at 13.8v????
