Where to buy RCI-2950DX with E-Chip?

Basically can someone tell me where the best place to get the RCI-2950DX with the E-Chip? Also is all you have to do is plug it in? Whats tha procedure?

Also does the rci 2950 use low level AM modulation?

things to consider

If u get a 257hp do not run it power to the max they overheat and u better install a fan.The cre8900 is a newer radio i would give it a few months before i bought one.The 2950 and 2970 series are great stable radios tried and true.The newer models are fantastic and i disagree on that audio comparison i have heard many 2950s and 257's on air and i like the sound of the 2950s especially when u run em with a good mic like a dm452 they sound fantastic on ssb....
