THIS ISNT FAIR BECAUSE THOSE GUYS ARE PROFESSIONAL SENDERS,they probably dont even have to look at the keyer they are using!!

They aren't professionals. They are radio amateurs. :biggrin: You don't look at your keyer or paddles or straight key when you send anyway as there is no need too. Some guys are so good they can carry on a conversation with someone in the shack while sending CW at the same time. Me personally I can't chew gum and send at the same time. :lol:
 
Some phones/crackberries/Ifone/dingus devices must be a lot easier to text on than others.

I wonder which has the easiest keyboard to use.

Thats tha same vid i posted :) (Mine was in WMP format though)
 
In 1939 a gentlemen by the name of Ted McElroy set a world record for sending at 75.6 words per minute (wpm) by hand,this of course being before the age of computers or electronic keyers. At one point he peaked at 77 wpm. He used what is called a "Bug" to send by hand with.His record still stands.
