Who made this antenna???

I am looking in one of my PUT'S CB 77 buyers guide and i will try again. I think it is a CBGP MADE BY HY-GAIN 1/4 wave ground plane.

The radials droop down at 45 degrees and its 18' tall overall. Its seems like a good antenna as it has a 1.1=1 swr and it seems to hear ok.. Id like to get that P-500 that the guy has that im getting up and running as well. It needs some new hardware and a new bottom plastic insulator. The 2 CLR 2s he has im getting (one for me and one for someone i know that wants to get back on the air) are in exellent shape..

Hey Zman i think i was trying to find the wrong Antenna. If it is the one in the far right let me look in my books and see if i can find it.

1/4 wave droopy groundplane

Appears to be a 1/4 wave droopy ground plane 2 piece elements made from solid rod aluminum screw together construction do not try to unscrew the 2 halves of each element most likely have corroded together. These were made by antenna Specialists as i think the model M-184 and produced for Allied Radio ,Lafayette,Olson and other brands who put their own part number on the box The Hy Gain 1/4 wave ground plane was made from tubing and the radials were at horizontal no droop it also used a Beta Match. Simple antenna great performance . the deluxe model had an additional set of radials placed 1/4 wave below the antenna non drooping to produce 3 db gain

once in a while one of these shows up on ebay and commands a premium amazing for an antenna that sold in the 60's for 9.95-17.95

The one on the roof is a Huster 5 BTV woith the 17 meter kit and the wires behind the CB antenna are for 40, 80, and 160 meters.
