id love to have one ..... but $200 is just too much for me irreguardless of the fact that its an awesome deal . 5mw is the maxium legal green laser strength for most folks in the usa , you have to have some kind of legal business or research use for anything stronger and this thing being 20 times stronger than a 200mw green one is sure to be made illegal for the average joe .
but ....... it could be the cure for the guy slpattering the air waves with music or obscene language . cruse by late at night and melt his coax from the road . LOL
What are these people mfg these things thinking?!?
I can't imagine these things being legal to purchase/own in the US for very long. The danger posed to aircraft by such items will be enough to make sure of it.
They are no different than guns. Guns don't kill people. People kill people.
If there were no guns or lasers then folks would use knives or sticks or rocks.
Guns, lasers, knives, sticks and rocks can all be used for responsible purposes by responsible people. Even kids with ordinary - reasonable training and instruction.
Higher power lasers come with plenty of warnings. Actually.... I don't see any warnings on gun or knife boxes
Lasers no different than guns = bullshit.
It's a completely different issue. You fire a gun at an aircraft and I guarantee you that you will be caught. You step out in your backyard in a large city and shine your laser on an aircraft on approach to land the chances of you being caught are far less. The chances however of causing blindness even temporary for the innocent flight crew are far more likely.
Don't believe me? Google the issue. It's a serious problem, guns shooting at planes not so much.
Once upon a time I thought you were just a troll that needed more practice, now I know that you are just slow.
Never did I say that all laser users were "abusers of them".
An item with no real use that I can dream of that is capable of causing immediate blindness and able to set skin on fire. Makes sense to me.
