It was a case of "The 3rd time's the charm" as this was my third attempt to get into the International Space Station as it passed over using my VX-8 HT and the handheld Arrow antenna. This was only a 25 degree pass and I wasn't very prepared for it (got caught up doing work around the house and almost forgot). I only had time to change the digipath and attach the antenna before it started the pass. I wanted to send a message, but I didn't have time to punch it in. Anyway, I successfully sent a position report through the space station! Check it out the ARISS page print screen for confirmation with me (AE6LX) on it
