Enjoy expanded receive coverage from 0.15-30, 65-220 and 400-520 MHz.
How well does it RX sw transmissions?

Itsallright. I should've known better a cheap chinese rig with sw rx doesn't make sense especially since its under $200. I did have to ask tho thanks for replying.

Where did you EVER see a UV920P for "under $200"???

Maybe an older model UV920R being closed out somewhere (although I've never seen even one of those quite that cheap).

for radios that seem to offer general coverage receive.

most would appear to have no pre-selector.
how do they handle image rejection?

I picked up one of these at a hamfest today for $325 cash. I plan on using it to replace the FT-8500 that's set as a dedicated cross band repeater in the back of my truck.

Going to be interesting, considering just reading the box gave me a headache, nevermind reading the manual.

Sent using secret methods known only to squirrels.

And selected hamsters.
