I was a little skeptical about wire antennas for HF, especially with only 100 watts, but I am absolutely floored by how effective this antenna I built is:

Someday I might like a tower with some kind of array on it, but with 8 acres of trees all around me, and a buddy with a throw bag and incredible tree climbing ability, I'm all set.
