WTB:Yaesu Amplifier Fl 110 DC power cord

just purchased this amp and need a power cord to get my dc volts to it . Its a 6 pin connector on rear of amp . Apprciate any help and if you know of a good radio tech in the houston area? Let me know his nphone number please

I had one of those amplifiers when they came out. Very nice early solid state amp by Yaesu. There is a wealth of information about the unit on this website N2CKH Amateur Radio Software™ . It has both a schematic and owners manual to view. The images are not the best but you can see the 6 pin power connector on the schematic. It looks like pins 1 and 2 are ground and pins 5 and 6 are positive 13.5 volts. If you can't find the original cord, you could solder wires on the pins and heat shrink over them. The site also points out there is a 3db attenuator on the RF input that could be removed if drive levels are below 10 watts.

im using the fl110 with my ic703, good little amplifier, mine came from the usa with a new chord so they are probably still available,

Sorry it took so long to answer but had should surgery , have taken it to a tech and he will try to do what your saying is to solder a wire to pos and neg and do the jumpers i guess and tgry it from there. The info i got ws that it only took 10/15 watt max input to get a goodl clean 100 watt output. well hope it works and will lwt you know or come ask you more questions

Have looked everywhere and thru some friends at theri ham stores and no luck yet but another gentleman gave me a good suggestion about just soldering a wire to the proper pins and then heat wrap them and away we go . will use it with my browing LTD moble on my japaneze pick up ...Worked 20 years in the middle east and never met a BRit from London....woder why most where from Teaside
