I have a Yaesu FT-270R HT.
I also have a Rugged Radio headset with the proper plug/cord for the headset, the water proof, screw in plug.
Now I have a Sena Blue Tooth Module, but the plug/cord that Sena supplies for Yaesu is the non water proof, push in plug/cord., which will not work with my radio.
Is it possible to cut the plugs off the cord and graft one to the other??
I did cut the plug off the Sena cord, but after cutting away the outside insulation, the very small wires seam not to be insulated, they are just a red, green, blue and copper finely twisted wires with seamingly nothing in the center.
How can this be?? How do I graft/soilter/replace the RR plug onto the Sena cord???
