Warning! Do Not invade my 6 foot Perimeter. You have been warned!

Worried about a 6 foot rule? Ha!

Familiar with the 21 foot rule?

But seriously folks, here's a thoroughly dangerous man. Paranoia and derangement being fueled by liberal media, either for ratings or mind control of Orwellian nature.

Remember be nice, be polite, but always have a plan.......

A mountain lion and two full grown cubs demolished a goat on my neighbors property this week. Not much left of the goat. So, the neighborhood watch is keeping a keen eye peeled. I am keeping the Winchester 12 ga loaded with 00 buckshot.

Mountain lions don't practice social distancing when they get hungry . . .

Momma got hungry, those babies needed meat. Too bad for the goat. She must be stressed for food. Small game not cutting it for Cubs. Easy pickings with a goat. Surprized the carcass was not covered or treed. Cats do that. Often they cover it and come back to feed later.

If you're carrying a openly to intimidate people maybe you should rethink the whole thing. I'm pro gun, but this is a pet peeve. I know people that carry unloaded just so they can tell people about it every chance they get.(n)

I carry for protection. If you make me(Not You personally) pull the weapon you will be shot. Have I shot people before, Yes. Will I shoot somebody again.? I hope I don't have to. A local PD officer told me that if a person pulls up next to them and shows a weapon they can do nothing. I told him that is the most asinine thing I ever heard of. I said I'm sorry you are blocked from taking proper actions, In my case if you point a gun(Not the Cop) at me while in a car I would shoot screw the rule.

There is a brandishing law. The definition can be manipulated. But in general, considering an altercation, if one displays the weapon not in self defense, but to intimidate, that is brandishing. Removal from holster or from vehicle.

Personally, I prefer open carry. If you are obviously a unarmed target, a criminal prefers that. There is a NOPD I know, he is the range instructor, qualifies all NOPD....everytime we get together discussion continues. He's pro concealed, but one must obtain license for such, Lousiana is open carry, no license required. He's older, prefers "element of surprise". But my argument to him is, if you look to be unarmed you make yourself out as easy target. If you are obviously armed, bad guys cross the street and do not attempt. No where does the Constitution call in registration in the 2nd Amendment. Just being armed is not intimidating. An armed society is a polite society.

Kentucky is a constitutional carry state. No permit is required for open carry, only if the weapon is to be concealed. In some states if you draw your weapon some might consider that to be assault. I won't sweat the small stuff. If I am forced to defend my self I will to the maximum I have available.
Since I have become so ill I have to ride every where in a wheel chair with an oxygen bottle in full view. The young Turks look at me sizing me for a robbery. You can see it in their eyes as they size you up. A quick scan top to bottom and a front to side inspection
So far no body has challenged me yet. If they do well we'll see what happens.
