Interesting.. I will have to try bending mine down. When mine sit straight out we have an OWL that loves to perch on top. He broke the top section which I had to replace. If I bend the top hat rods, the Owl will not have a place to perch. All will be well with the world.

Marconi.. I do have the new HyGain Version and will find the time this week-end to do some measurements and report back.

Marconi, without pulling the antenna down and measuring, my best recollection is each of the four radials are 105" and the total OAL of the antenna is 272 inches.. I did tune the antenna with an MFJ-259B for 27.225, so there is probably an inch of play to the OAL, but this is what I remember...
