New Mic Help

Hi i'm looking to upgrade my mobile mic from a stock cobra mic to a diesel 1000ohm powered mic with volume control. Will there be a big difference? I'm just seeing if it is worth it. Thanks in advanced everyone

New Set UP HELP!

So i'm about to upgrade to a Wilson 1000 roof mount from a lil wil. I'm running a 110watt 1pill amp on a cobra 19 ultra III tuned at 10watts. Will this set up work decent? All criticism welcome. Thanks in advanced everyone

lil wil w/ linear

Ok so I have a lil wil antenna going at 1 to 2 and getting 5miles barefoot with my cobra ultra 19 radio. I have the cobra 19 radio tuned up at 8watts instead of the 4 watts it was stock. How well will it work with a 110watt linear or another kind of amp? I'm thinking around 20 to 25 miles? The...
