    Chuck, If the radio is standard with the three bands it should be, Low 26.515 to 26.955, Mid 26.965 to 27.405, High 27.415 to 27.855. Dave.

    Magnum S-9 Mic Gain setup

    Shady. Dont worry about it, turn the mic gain up all the way on FM people will soon tell you if your over modulating on FM. Do the same on side band but look at the meter, it should not move untill you speak, if it does it's picking up background noise and may need turning down at touch.

    rfoverlord, If you still need some more info on the WKS1001, maybe i can help. I have eprommed about 10 of them in the past for 26.065 to 27.855mhz with all the alpha channels. I had to change all three crystals and i still have some left. If you PM me with your Email address I'll send you...
