Lords, so it is wired for "A". 120/240 and it need to be wired for "C" 110/230. So I need to change the jumpers wires and get a new cord with a standard 3 prong plug. I am sure if I understand. Sorry to sound dumb Thanks Jerry

I had a 959 for about a year, it seem to be a good radio. I ran it in my F250 4X4, it had stiff ride but the radio seem to hold up. As far as the mods, they seem to be easy to do.

I use a Heil Goldline HC-5, I have had great reports. The mic has a key switch and a toggle switch.
