cobra 148 GTL Philly version Weird happennings

First of all, unless you have a true peak reading meter; then what you are seeing is average power. In which case, 12w is what you may well see.

How are you doing the adjustments on the final and driver? The driver should be 25mA and the final 50mA. Put the "+" end of the VOM/DVM test lead on the board post and the "-" VOM/DVM test lead on the end on the bias wire for each adjustment. Put it on USB or LSB and turn the mic gain all of the way down too. Make sure that you have the right bias wire for the driver or final when you adjust; or you won't see it change.

well yes, I am using PDC 600 meters set on peak, and my washingtons peak at 21 on it, but I changet the finals and now I only get 18ma on both. on USB ch 19 ground to wire and pos to post, vr9 does TP8 vr8 does TP7. I know how to do Bias, but there is something wrong?
