HMMMMMMMMing sound

i have a titan 2 RPSY485 with a Imax 99. The problem is i have a hmmming sound. I have the radio hooked up to a power supply and my amp is hooked up to a battarie thats in the closet. I have reconected everything to make sure nothing was loose. But it still has a slight hmm in the back ground. What could cause this, My SWR's are flat. I need help, Ive tried everything. Try running the radio off the battery, if the hum goes away, it might be the filter caps are going bad in the supply.

Well i just got it fixed. Well i have something that will help it. Fl_Native told me to get a filter from a AM/FM radio and put it right next to the the pos. wire going into the radio. It works great. Truckers could tell a huge differance when i take it away from the wire. Thanks for the info Audio. Ill try that if i ever have another problem like this. Thanks CDX197
