I'm about to put the finishing touches on my home built base amp. Its all done with one transistor, a 50 volts power supply. 1 watt max input 300 watt output. Simple rocker switch power. Most everything was supplied by Motorola years ago when I lived in Okalhoma. Soon as I get it tested fully I'll post up some pics. This thing is so heavy and very tightly packaged.

Will this qualify for the spring contest?

It has a tripple fuse protection. It'll take a 1 watt max input and produce 300 watts output on a bird meter. I can't take all the credit for this project to be honest. The people at Motorola were a big help. As was a great friend and technician in Tulsa Oklahoma Darrel "Cheesy" Pearson.
