very busy moving..
can someone link me i cant figure out how to change the
address on my callsign to have it go to another address?

me and my wife and in the process of a rough move,
i have 2 homes now LOL..

want my callsign to go to a PO BOX inbetwen where i live and where
i will be transferred to at work..

i have to run thought the area anyway on my way to work and my family
lives close by.. its easier this way..

any help appreciated..

Set Up Password With FCC

You can do it yourself for nothing. Just go to the FCC site, and with your
FNN # you set up your password and change whatever you want. They
automatically will send you a new revised license, no charge.

thanks for the link.. (its worth the $9)..
i did it last night.. should see the changes soon, since its the weekend..

this is a very tough move.. i have no time for anything..
my wife and i and trying to do all of this around our full time jobs schedule..

NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE, BUT WE ARE GETTING IT DONE!

its just the 2 of us.. we have been renting her parents house since 2001!
THE PLACE WAS HUGE! the rent was reasonable, about $1,100 a month.

3 bedrooms, full bath, eat in kitchen, dining room, huge living room,
2 car garage, 4 car driveway, heated swimming pool..
the 2 family house is on a double lot..

one of the reasons for us leaving, the utilities were killing us!
the central ac unit could barely keep up in the hot summer..
the heat was gas/forced air..

so pretty much our utilities were completely out of hand..
NOTHING WAS INCLUDED!

outrageous gas bills in the winter, insane electric bills in the summer,
water bill, phone, internet, cable tv, alarm system.. thats tons of $$$

Jen and I got a HUGE 1 bedroom apartment that we are 90% moved into..
heat and water/hot water included..
for 2 people, this is fantastic!
quiet neighbors, nice location..

im going to upgrade my license soon..
havent had any free time..

Give it some time. A change of address is no real biggy unless you are urgently expecting something from the FCC. I'm glad you're just about moved in and settled. Good luck on your planned upgrade.

Agood fairly inexpensive screwdriver antenna is the ATAS 120A. It's cheap compared to say HiQ or High Sierra. The diamond 400c is a great mount for it and it will mount nicely to your rear hatch, fully adjustable and if you drill a hole and set the screw it is most times enough groung to work the antenna. HF mobile is a whole nother monster. Hopefully it will work other-wise you will have to start grounding and bonding. Here is a link that should answer any questions you may have.....

Haha, back in black.

Looks like they did a good job, black is a color that shows everything( as I'm sure you know), wash it, come out the next day and see the dust. :(

I don't spend much time in my Jeep Grand Cherokee, so I'm in no hurry to put a HF in it.

It's similar to the big 'burb in shape, only smaller.

I think when (if) I do it, I'll try a 102" whip on a hitch mount with a tuner.

Those screwdrivers are expensive enough to worry me most places I could mount one, getting clipped in a parking lot could be expensive.

i did the body work.. i had maaco paint it..

i only got 1 coat a few months after i painted it..

still waiting on my callsign to update..

changing my license and reg was a PITA..
needed 100 forms of id and a letter from the president..
