Older Bearcat 800XLT

I have a Bearcat 800XLT, it works.But I have a question I hope somebody can help with.There are 2 buttons I dont know how to use.They are Limit and Search.For example , if I wanted to search between 155Mhz and 160MHZ, how would I do it ? All replies appreciated.

It's been years since I've owned the BC-800XLT so I might be wrong.Try:

1 Press Manual
2 Enter the lower search limit (155 MHz)
3 Press Limit
4 Enter the upper search limit (160 MHz)
5 Press Limit
6 Press Search to begin searching.
