The antenna is about 77' to the base. It is installed on a 5-6 foot piece of angle iron which is lagbolted to the tree in 3 places.. it is also installed at a y, so that it rests against the tree.. We've had several storms in the past 2-3 weeks, and it doesn't budge.. It sways a little in the wind, the vertical element does.. but the rest is dead steady.

On an MFJ antenna analyzer (259), it showed 50 ohms, x=0, 1.0 swr on channel 13 (my main channel), it is at least 1.1 through all 40, and is 1.0 for about 10 channels.

I am running 150' of andrew cnt-400 (lmr400).

Here is the power supply I had ordered, but UPS dropped the maul on me (pun intended). As you can see, it's mangled on both sides, and the meter is busted out. Despite being triple boxed, packed slap full of packing, and bubblewrap and who knows what else..

Now, this was a 250 amp power supply, as my original plans were a 250 amp power supply, 12 pill, and 4x1446 base box.

My new plans have changed to a 300 amp power supply (actually surges much much higher), and it will have no problem holding 15v with a 16 pill east coast. Those east coast power supplies are nice and very affordable. I will be running a 4 pill mobile on iota's, or a 4 pill base box, haven't decided yet.

Just sorta waiting around til tax return now to finish it, as I paid my 16 pill money to some mexicans to paint my house, lol.
