Amateur Radio operators from Central Texas participated in the Department of Defense Interoperability Communications Exercise (DICE) June 1-5 at Camp Mabry near Austin. DICE is an annual training exercise sponsored by US Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) and conducted by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). More than 30 federal, state and local government agencies and military units participated in DICE, including ARES®, RACES and Texas Army MARS.
