Texas Ranger TR-396FC

Does anyone have any information on these radios? They have a great price and a 6-digit frequency counter that is definitly a selling point. Are they decent quality? How are they after tuning? What is their chassis based on? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

sure looks like an old 148 GTL FC but AM Only , wish I could tell you more . The price sure looks right as you said. I'd like to know how good they are as well ? Ranger made huh ?
