D-Rail sure loves to price gouge. He wants $650 for a stock Stryker 955HPC+, it comes with a *FREE* tune. It's sad to see CB shops like that trying to rip people off. Zero excuse for D-Rail trying to take advantage of customers like that.

Way better deals from these shops.
Mars = conversion to enable 11 meter band (CB band).
It takes longer to remove radio cover than it does to solder the two pads together to complete the Mars conversion on Stryker 955HPC+.

Wow! and to think what D-rail says about that certain infamous CB shop charging $800?

I watched a few minutes of D-Rail's YouTube videos and I sure wouldn't pay that kind of money for a radio to sound like that.

I purchased an Anytone 6666Pro from Scott's with no tune just the TX frequency expansion and got just that. He seems to be a straight up person to me.

You would think more CB shops would be like Scott's radio. Make videos showing spectrum analyzer and not just watts for radios customers purchase from you. In my opinion that's the best kind of advertisement you can have in a hobby fill with hacks job cb shops.

Think it's part because he is not trying to squeeze every last cent out of his customs and the fact that radio is not his main source of income.
I know that the last video I watched from him, he talked about selling his inventory and maybe holding off a bit because he is competing against online retailers that under cut his pricing by drop shipping and not making sure the radio is 100% functional like he does.
It would be a bummer because he seems to be a honest person that is taking care to sell working radio without the magic wackpackturbotunetruckerised charges...

That was a "Superwackpack-turbotunedtruckerised" LOL!

Funny how that superwackpack reference occasionally comes up on the forum. Radioactive's best tune up offered, how could you go wrong with a name like that?

I believe they disappeared into the AZ desert some time ago but the legacy continues.

I perused Wolfman D-Rail CB shop and priced a STRYKER 955 with nearly all the services and gadgets he can do to the radio and it bumped up the price to a whopping $1730.00 and he doesn't include free shipping so that can be another $50 or so. With tax it'll be about 2 grand!

If you mostly operate SSB mode, I believe it would be better to invest in an ICOM-7300 which has all those add-on gadgets and are on sale with rebates for $999.00 with free shipping.

But if this is what someone wants and can afford it, by all means go for it!

Scott tires to avoid keeping inventory on hand. He can get most radios drop shipped to him in like 2days. Been thinking about buying Stryker 955HPC+ from him.

I love this. You even got EEI’s good old TurboTune in there.

Express Electronics Inc and the famous Turbo Tune.
I wish my old computer hard drive was still around.
I had internal E-mails from when they started to fold and were charging customer cards knowing full well that product would never ship ....
They burned a lot of bridges when that house of cards started to fold.
Even a bunch of there employees got the shaft, I know they screwed Dean over for a lot of his work there.
