This has a 6JU6, which is what the schematic (that I downloaded) shows ot should be. I googled it and it says to be a Beam Power Tube. Sounds good to me. It is definitely antique/vintage and shows about the same wattage as the TX-75 does (on my scrappy meter of course). Seems like I heard one...
You are probably correct on the meter. I thought that was too much also. I figured that would get a faster response than just asking about it.LOL. I was thinking that is what the "75" is about. While on the subject, what should a Kris 300, 2 tube put out?
I found a Palomar DX-75 at a flea market for $20USD, works great, My elcheapo meter shows somewhere around 150-175W with my Cobra 139XLR and D-104 mic.
Can someone give me their feeling on this cable? For the price?

I know this if an old comment, but I just bought a 139XLR myself. I wanted a Cobra SSB, was torn between the 139 and 142, took the advice from here and got the 139xlr. It has a double throw switch in the back and I was figuring it was "uppers" and "lowers". I'm sure someone here can look at this...
yea, I will start checking the LSB 38. all i hear on AM is ratchet jaws saying they getting off the air, (which they never do). Was going to walmart yesterday and heard a guy in georgia saying he getting off, and was in walmart 45 minutes, come out and he still "getting off" and all the way home...
