That's not the latest version :) Newest version has moved things around a little. Has NRC for RX and also TX (will reduce background noise). Has NPC on/off as well for audio boost - not sure if it's an actual NPC yet but basically it's kinda of a max mod type adjustment. Not much distortion...

I looked at that but on most Deltaforce radios it has a cw position instead of pa. (I’ve never seen one say PA there). On omegaforce it was on the RF power knob you turned it left till it clicked. Delta force not sure - he says he turns that knob and regardless of position it’s stuck in PA mode...

Was trying to help someone online and don’t have the radio in front of me and for the life of me can’t remember how this radio did pa mode. Was it rotating a knob till it clicked it was it a combo func button press? Anyone?

Wondering what people might suggest for a switch panel with 50A total capacity and maybe 3-4 toggle switches? Or 40amp individual capacity for each switch. Looking for something that isn’t crazy big and each can be wired individually. Seems like everything is 30a or below. Might have to custom...

We are covered in 12" snow plus got a good 0.5" of ice last night with 40mph winds. Haven't gone outside to see if the antenna is still there :) Listening to DX on Kiwi SDR today.

I'm not selling the one I bought - simply letting you know if you really want one you can get one from Nevada Radio UK. I looked for a used one for a while and couldn't find one and missed the posting here. They are VERY hard to find used in the USA.

I ended up buying one from Nevada UK - they had a sale and with shipping it was under $325. Pretty cool radio. More solid on the controls than the USA version.

How do you plan to isolate the elements from the boom? I have a spare sirio dipole here.

The weird thing is they are $70 in the US and $40 (33 pounds) in UK. The build quality reminds me of a 452, definitely not a $70 microphone.

He replaced the display so you’ll lose some display functions from the stock display like NB, mic gain, RF gain etc which would be the downside but you’ll gain freeband and could use it for 10 meters etc. It will display mode on the new display. Not sure if I’d do it on a 980 but pretty cool...

To add to that info - without the extender section it’s still usable for 11M but SWR will likely be in the 1.7-2.0 range and more optimized for 10M.

I was too late on those and they had sold. Hoping one of those buyers might be ready to pass it on :)
