Either one will serve you well... I think the 101 edges the 901... But their all good... And I am sure when you get up after a day at the radio... You'll have nothing but smiles on your face!

No doubt a nice guy to talk with... I know my next piece that needs work will go to him... I would have sent the KLV if H&Y wouldn't have offered to send a new one... I would have been a fool not to jump on that.

I'm with you Peddler... Hit it right on the head... It's nice when you send your radio out, and when you call you can talk to the tech without getting a smart a** on the phone that thinks he's King Electron or something... I had a very nice conversation today with Justin DePolis... For him...

I'll second that ... That's the way alot of guys power their big amps at the house... Take a couple power Supplies and parallel them together...

Update, I tried the Silver Salute on the Ranger RCI 6900 :D And my wife said LOUD,LOUD,LOUD and VERY clear... The amplification on this element is excellent... Man it had the 'ole Needle dancin' away... It's a very nice Mic in my opinion... I like it alot!

Alot of Ranger users in there! ;) Even though it was a CB forum... RCI Ranger makes Galaxy Radios to Galaxy's specs... And the Galaxy 959DX would be my CB SSB choice along with my Texas Ranger TR-696 SSB .... Very good audio out of that Base Station on SSB... Bob's CB Tuned of 'Course...

You'll like it RF-68 ... A very good rig overall, Congratulations! I have heard a few on the air although I never owned one... And they all sounded good. You'll definately like your new toy as long as it is clean and some backyard tech wasn't in it fooling around...

There's no doubt about it... I have 3 of them and they have all been solid performers, very well built, and not a problem with one of them! In a market of competitors they definately stand as King of The Hill in my book.
