I have to agree with you. The dealership even offered to install a Snorkel Kit, as they do make one for that engine. No matter, I wanted more horsepower instead.

In case anyone's interested in this kind of stuff here, I made a video of my Storm Chasing machine. I tried to make it as informative as possible, so it turned out to be quite long and a bit boring--unless you're into this sort of stuff.

It's been a long time, but I believe the base was four-feet square by eight-feet deep. There is a welded cage embedded into the concrete base with rebar pounded into the sides of the hole wall.
The whole structure was designed by an architect before it was built. The plans cost me $1,200.00!
