when did yaesu stop 3 year

Wow 600-800 for a mic. I really like the EQ on it, too bad it wasn't 200-300 and worked on an ICOM 718 or 7300.

    Service Info on Magnum S9....

This is about the most information you will find for a Magnum S9. The channel/freq display board is a point of concern these days. The replacement part is no longer made, when they go bad your pretty much SOL. https://www.worldwidedx.com/cbt/radios/rflimited/magnum_s9/index.html Here is a...

I see now, guy just wants a channel mod for extra's. When I first read this post I though you were referring to hi fi or wideband audio mods.

Is there anyone in the Hot Springs Arkansa area that works on cb radios?

I think you will need more then a cb tech for that radio. This is a very old model, even if you find a Yaesu repair person parts will be the next issue. Nice old school rig, looks like 1976-1979 production years. This Al guy can still work on them. Good luck...

CARL BUILT / RCI 69 BASE PLUS

In both examples those radio's each have variable power. You can get by running a 4 pill amp with a higher powered radio IF you back the radio power down so as to not overdrive the amp. I have no idea what the suggested input levels are with a Carl built but I would assume it would be the same...

    texas star 400

Well no. If you have a Texas star amp you put the fan on the heat sink. If you cut a hole in the cover and do a butcher job yours fool. Nuff said

    Ranger top one

I'm sure it's all surface mount, not too many people like to mess with that. Probably be easier to just get a 2018 Extreme echo mic and be done. If you really feel you need echo. https://www.theradiogarage.com/product-page/texas-ranger-tre-top-one-ssb-cb-radio Well this place says they can add...

    Trc 465

Agreed. That radio is the same at the Uniden 122xl. It's a great sounding stable on SSB low powered radio. Team it up with a KL203 amplifier and that is a bang for the buck set-up.

    DC Connector for Amplifiers

Agreed. I have the red Anderson plugs on all my amplifiers. I have seen red, gray, and the blue ones pictured. If you have a butane torch it’s simple to melt solder in the metal pieces, dunk the wire and then snap them into the plastic plugs.
