If your in to talking skip then SSB is a strait up requirement IMO. It is a whole 'nother world. Lots of times when AM is dead 38LSB is rolling.

I wouldn’t spend real money on anything that didn’t have SSB. I have the linc2+. I like it ok because I use it on 10 and CB. If I was only interested in cb I would look for something else.

They make kits for the corvette, they are all based around the firestik system. I had this kit on my C4 and it was "Meh". But to be fair I didn't put much effort in to tuning it. I just wanted something to listen to 19 on a trip.
