Just passed a mobile home hauler yakkin’ the yak on a 447. Great audio.
But Radio is about ears.
The Lincoln can hear what the 447 never can.

I wouldn’t spend real money on anything that didn’t have SSB.
I have the linc2+. I like it ok because I use it on 10 and CB. If I was only interested in cb I would look for something else.

It's all about personal preference and we all prefer something different depending on what or where we'll use the rig. I myself prefer an Am radio in my big rig because I don't live in it so no time to ssb. It serves my purpose completely. Now at the home base I run ssb because that's primarily what it's for, although I do have am rig there to hear and chat with the occasional local. It's what works for you my friend. It's your money, you're using it and you know the purpose it'll need to serve. All of our opinions are just our opinions, but maybe from them we can help you make your decision rather than make it for you.

If you're going to spend a chunk of money and want the AM audio but also might consider using SSB than get the Stryker 955HP.
Or maybe something like a DELTA EC-1 to help make AM loud & proud on a radio more aimed at 10/12 Meter.

Odd pair of radio's to have it narrowed down to. The Stryker will talk circles around the Lincoln on AM. As stated you might consider the 995.

For a little bit more than the cost of the 447, you could get a 955. The 955 has great AM and SSB which is uncommon to find in a radio. Usually you get one at the expense of the other.
The Stryker 447 hpc2 will talk circles around a president on AM no doubt
