    Recently acquired a cobra 2000 gtl has output only on ssb but none on am any help would be appreciated

    I went deeper with my knowledge L37 was bad now I get 9 watts on am on tx as for lsb and usb I now get 30 watts on key up

    I have a frequency counter it’s a HP 53131A 255 MHZ connected to antenna jack , when I key up frequencies are all over the place but my recieve is on on par

    I have fixed several radios in the past this is the first one I ever encounter with a relay and oldest model I worked on, radio has great receive as I aligned it my self

    Relay is not stuck I can see it move back and forth when I key up

    I recapped the radio made sure didn’t put any caps backwards as for tantlums as well
