Getting 8V on the TX rail at the Pre-Driver on down to the Driver and Final? (AM side seems to prove this so proceed)
36 "watts" means it's gobbling up about 2 to 3 amps to make the TX side work, but no 27MHz...
You are looking for Mods that may have been there, now removed -
properly? Radio seems to operate just no power... Mods can upset the apple cart here - Fix it - if it ain't right.
AM Regulator sending power to the test points?
Can you get 12V to them in SSB modes?
Check, and if needed, before it blows up - check the output network - make sure you didn't buy a radio struck by a power line or lightning strike frying out the LPF and 50 ohm section back there.
