Yes voltage was pretty solid.
I had to cut one part out due to noise from a piece of test gear I could not hear. But the camera sure did. That was the alignment part. Which was why the unit was splattering 5 channels wide.

In this video we troubleshoot a very fine piece of vintage CB test gear. Inside the unit we find that the 3 74161 program divider chip failed in a cascade format. We also find that IC307 took out a resistor. After replacing the failed components we getthe unit back up and running.
I use one that is a little different than most. It has a Demod port and sampler port. These connect to the X and Y input of your scope. The demod port will pick the audio off the carrier. This way you can look at both separately. w2aew has a video on it on YouTube.

Some radios you have to use your own judgment. Search and see what others have done. Radios like the Kenwood TS-850 and TS-50 need to be recapped. Many known issues with capacitors in those two rigs. I have done over 4 videos on the TS-50 alone.
