Kenwood ts-850s HF transceiver on 11 meters

Ok. I've got a new problem with this radio. The led screen isn't working at all. Completely black. No leaking caps or any residue of cap leakage on the led board. What else could be causing this?

Variable power circuit for direct injected cobra 29

The higher the carrier, the lower in volume the tone is. I'll unplug some stuff to see if it is one of those things. Tried that once but I may have missed something. Thanks LF

Variable power circuit for direct injected cobra 29

I'm looking to find a variable power circuit design that is compatible with direct injection on cobra 29 radios. The standard TIP120 produces a tone in transmission. I've also tried a tip29 as well. Is there a better design for variable carrier power? Any help would be awesome.

Trying to make a simple T/R switch with a HH52P relay

Thanks everyone for your help. I got the t/r switch made. Works great. The device I use to key my radio is also used to switch the receiver off. It kills the receiver just very slightly before it keys the radio just to be safe. Thanks guys!!!

Trying to make a simple T/R switch with a HH52P relay

Also, yes this is a solid state transceiver. It is on a vertical antenna as well. The CB its self only puts out about 12 watts pep on AM.

Trying to make a simple T/R switch with a HH52P relay

Call me a wishful thinker but it would seem like there would be a certain "point" on the Board that one could solder a coax wire to for receive to an external receiver. Like the point where RF comes in to the receiver portion of a transceiver.

Trying to make a simple T/R switch with a HH52P relay

Still one problem left, how am I supposed to run this receiver in line on the same antenna since it has one coax connection on the back of it?
