    Gmrs

They are a bunch of linked ham repeaters. The main difference is with ham if you want longer range you can up the power or move to different bands. With GMRS just like CB its limited to low power and one band.

    Jpole radials

They will do nothing to improve the signal and may in fact detune the antenna.

    X50c2 diamond vhf/uhfantenna

One antenna is not going to perform well on 2/70 and GMRS. You will need two antennas.

Another Anytone clone from Radioddity Qt-60

It's because this is NOT a ham radio no matter what the label says so this is why it tunes in 5k steps. This is directly aimed at the 11 meter market but it can be "used" on 10 meters if someone wanted to.

This is an issue, mine has weathered a couple Chicago winters and each spring I need to repair it but it has never completely come apart. Wind it not the really issue but ice is.

    ultimate antenna question

Its an end feed antenna, I played around with one(made my own) and yes they do work. It's far from the ultimate antenna and more a quick and dirty temporary one and I would never use one a permanent option.

Tram Model 1191 Glass Mount Antenna-Help

Glass mount antennas are notorious for having high swr's, I had an Antenna Specialist one in the 90s. I was never able to get the swr below 1.6. I ran with it that and there were no issues but I will say then do not perform well and are highly directional.
