delta force older is usually better the only problem i had with the delta force was the back lights of the freq counter those were a pain to change other wise the radio could walk the dog along with excellent echo

ssb radios I used cobra 148 ,galaxy 959 ,uniden pc 122 i had the best luck with the pc 122 awsome compact little radio the 959 had lots of features but was dis satisfied with ssb on it

mic's i will have to try that with the battery i have it hooked up to a power supply now into the cigarette jack see i cant hear the humming its making through my headset but everyone in town says they can hear it hum and distort and it plays the roger beeps with no problems
