Start with going back and closely re checking your work. Look for anything on/around the mike jack that may be shorted or any little solder blobs that may have made there way in while you were working.
Pictures of the area if possible help members spot things amiss....

Mine still plugs right along, I have been using it often with the latest band conditions on HF.
When they came out they were the best little station in a box you could buy.
With the built in batt packs and tuner it was a complete portable station with a handle on the side.
The display on mine...
May be that you can find some time to finish that six meter amp, or work on the antennas, or maybe even play radio a little.
Then there is the yard, the brush, the driveway, fixing the bridge, and any possible hunny do's that might pop up.

Oh, forget the say that the antenna I am using today is the vertical dipole I made out of two mobile whips mounted to the balcony with the feed point about ten feet above ground, that's how hot the band is.
(I also worked Japan and South Korea on this same antenna in the last week.)

Just worked Song, HL5FEE He is on 28.473
Ten is open, I am listening to him working a pileup right now, my first contact with South Korea.
He is working stations all over the US.

The band is open here, the noise level is up but if you dig a bit you can get them. Mostly Virginia, Tennessee plus a couple stations in Florida but most of the channels above 35 have SSB traffic.

I cleaned this up, it was not going to end well.
I am not sure if you expected someone to just have this part sitting around or a part number in stock from mouser but why cop a attitude when members are trying to help?
