Recently watched this vid. Now im thinking about adding a magnetic loop to my antenna arsenal (farm).
What do yall think?
Current antennas are Hexbeam (20-10m), (OMTA) Offset Multiband Trapless Antenna (vertical 40-10m) and 80m wire fed with window line (50' above ground at feedpoint).
TS-480 uses the modular plugs :( when i do install my ts-480hx im going with a Heil HMM and HEIL AD-1KM

Dome light is right there, clearances. Would i do it again, in a heart beat. Now i just need HF in the mobile. V/Uhf is getting so boring lately, and having problems putting up an antenna at home.
Yea for a long time ive been using parallels to run HRD, but the Hardware is taking its tole. It to the point id have to upgrade just to run HRD and that would be a $1k upgrade. But currently the financing is not going to work for a very long time.
Does anyone know if there is software to use the USB Stick SRD receiver thing?
ex. Like one of these
Its windows supported, but i dont have a windows machine and i rather not buy another machine or run windows.
