Just bought this almost new radio from my cousin yesterday and hooked it up. Everything seems a-o-k but this carrier on SSB. I still can get some needle swing on side band but not much. What could be causing this problem? He bought this radio from FG Best Communications about 3 months ago...- USXDriver

Ahhhh the memories of my D-62.......... It was 1988 and my first real mobile radio purchase I think I was 14 at the time.. Went down to radio shack and got there cheapest magnet mount antenna and mounted it on my moms 1974 chevy nova. That radio is where I made my first skip contact on 38...- USXDriver
