    Beam heading

Yeppers! Its due to the curvature of the globe. We are so used to looking at some form of projection type map that takes a round shape and puts it on a flat surface that we forget that the projection can throw our perspective off. If you were to take a globe and plot the direction you would see...

    Grounding: Crossing Exterior Architectural Features

It not going to be pretty, but I would try go as straight as possible to the ground rod at the service entrance. Try not to put too many sharp turns in the ground wire.

    WV4L-Delta Loop

Thanks for the flowers on the set-up. I don't have any plans right now for any other additions to the tower. The Hex Beam gives me 20-6M coverage and the UHF/VHF Beam covers me for 2M vert. & horiz. and 440 vert. I can match the Delta Loop for 160-6M. I'm still on a learning curve for the...

    WV4L-Delta Loop

The coax is suspended high enough all the way to the entry panel. It doesn't touch the ground. So I'm good there. I will take the slack out of the white wire (which is a ground) to clean up that part of the install later. I just hope I can get the grass established here so I can have some...

    Got a supprise today

KEWL! I tried to find a remote mount switch for my antenna and couldn't find any thing that was rated for VHF/UHF so I ended up running multiple feed lines. Get it up in the Air! 73 Wayne C.

    CB to 6M?

I caught the tail end of a conversation on 2M the other night. Individual claims that he is going to use a 11M amp on 6M. I don't know if they are going to do some kind of conversion or modification. They said they had a couple of "CB amps" laying around and was going to put them into service on...
