I made a Uniden BCT15X and a 980 fit in my Commander - mount 'em to either side of the transmission hump, and you're GTG! :cool:

That's a relief - it was a cross-country, pig-in-a-poke trade (CA to PA!), so it's nice to know it's not already a crispy critter on the inside, or some such!

I tried to do something similar with Ram model "C" mounts in my Jeep Commander, seeing as how the modern avionics leave little room for the IMPORTANT stuff... like... full-size CB's and scanners. Eventually, the hi kwality roads of Pittsburgh, did in MY setup, and I ended up bolting them...
