Mounting my mobile system

My 148f has an aluminum plate looking covers so i do care to drill holes in these mount the 667 right to the radio mount the meter on top of that. So fellow worldwidedx.com members this is the HIPPIECOM POWER CABINET and optional hippiecom power pedestal mount lol sold seperately

Won't that mount wobble when you hit a bump in the road? Maybe you could run a vertical 1/8" x 3" aluminum plate from the floor/ hump to the back of the radio to help keep it stable? Otherwise a nice mobile set up for sure.

i am thats exactly what im doing that mount has joints that have double allen screw sets it will be tilted and there is a second mount at the back
 
I tried to do something similar with Ram model "C" mounts in my Jeep Commander, seeing as how the modern avionics leave little room for the IMPORTANT stuff... like... full-size CB's and scanners.

Eventually, the hi kwality roads of Pittsburgh, did in MY setup, and I ended up bolting them astride the transmission console.

Wanna buy some LIGHTLY used Ram mounts? ;)

inn my offroad truck im mounting it way different and probably a yetticom the 148f and the 667 i put in my tundra 2wd hwy truck, i ususally just put it in for a road trip or sometimes shoot a little skip thats about it, that thing is a bad manber jamber though like to see what it would do off a base antenna about 60 or 70 feet above the ground
