Any one know if there is an easy or any fix for channel segments sometimes working and then not? Checked & re solder joints on cable did not do anything. thanks

Tweaked the can L19 just barely moved it and all channels came back . Thanks you learn something every day!

No lights, no smoke, and no sparks either.

Have a meter attached.Not getting any power to the volt reg ic. It has weird mods done to it.The board only has two wires to attach to the radio . Trying to make it normal so it can be trouble shooted.Otherwise out in the trash it goes!

I don't know it is very large the throw in the switches is better than an inch. two wires coming from it and I haven't found out what part of the radio they connect to. Also there is a jack in it to plug a power supply into but it is enclosed in the radio. I will try to post some pics.

I think I got 13.8 at one and three.dont sound right.

I transplanted one out of another radio and it worked.Only one problem. Channel 1 doesn't work all other 39 do .No tx or rx?light doesn't even change.

Like around 30 bucks. don't even know if radio will work after replacing them. maybe I can find some pulls in other radios.or even transfer them out of another radio. to see if it works before I spend my hard earned money.

Know a place I can purchase these from?Or do I have to find some in other radio's?

Got a 148 GTL from late 80's .Rattle inside.opened it up and a crystal was bouncing around inside. Right next to L9 ,Can not read what it is. Any one know?It was rusted off the board. Looked like water or coke got to it.Grey plastic coating on it.Probably should know what the value of the one...

changed c95 radio transmits now!weak a few watts but something to work with.

There are too many things going on with this radio.It has a channel mod ,clarifier opened, An echo board installed,Talk back,and lastly 5 pin mic connector changed to a 4. Do not know where to start first.Maybe return it to stock but the mic plug got me stumped. I guess it used to have a board...

I hear the shorting of c95 causes this problem.If that's true or not.
