I just got mine today from cheapham.com. for $109.90 shipped. It came with the 1700ma battery . Ordered it Wed. evening and got it this morning ! The audio sounds great ! Seems like a very nice HT . Can't wait to mess with it some more. Just ordered th programming cable that comes with the CD .

I have read that the only way to mod an HTX-10 is to change the cpu because Radio Shack had it purposely manufactured to not be able to mod it. There is no "channelized " programming in the chip like there is in the 257 and like clones.

The thing I like about the code is it is quick and you don't have to set search options for results. It just automatically puts all the results up.

There is a little code you can use that searches all locations for those that like to search beyond a set location. In a search engine such as Google just place the item name before the word " site" in the code below. Just copy and paste the code below and add the keyword before the word "site"...

I think if you just go to the areas you are comfortable with there is no problem. I've been to the ZED and I find it more harmful reading all the fighting and degrading comments that constantly flood the threads there than I do coming to a place that may have some areas that I'm not a partaker...

I had the same thing . I bought an ART Zdirect box. Similar to an Ibox. I had to push the button for "ground lift" . It took care of it. Make SURE you do not turn Phantom power on with that mic ! Great mic. That is what I am using.
