Nice! Best of luck to you in your attempt.. The current general exam isn't bad, I just took it myself not long ago.. I had to take it again to get my license back after letting it expire some years ago.

Good Luck. I am sure you will do well. Hope you have an HF set up ready to take advantage of the privledges. Hope to hear you on the bands with your /AG. While you are at it. Take a stab at the Extra Exam as well. You might end up with a 2fer!

Iam studying now for my General.....More then likely i will do the test this summer or Fall..

I wanted to do it before June 30th as the question pool will change. I will not have a radio for HF right now. My IC7K just started acting up about a week ago showing Crazy high swr on all bands. My antenna feed line and antenna are testing good at 1.5 and with my tuner is 1.1 but radio is 3.0 +.

I am sending it to Icom this weekend and they are telling me it is a two week turn around right now.

Just my luck in time for my upgrade LOL.
