It not going to be close to power lines....

Have a question or 2... As you no I have power lines in my yard, would I be better off with a dipole thats has insulation on the wire or will it matter?.... And if I went with a G5RV 10-80m full size 102', would it still perform as it should with the last 35ft of it turned in another...

If I was going to spend that kinda money of a radio, I'd buy a HF radio... You can take a SSB radio and a 2 pill or 4 pill, or tube amp if you prefer and talk as good on this.....saw on FB, some of those guys are selling that radio for 700 bucks....

I used to run one of those Magnum S9 radios, the one I had, had those 1969 finals in it and was the best radio think I'd owned, used it mostly on AM, some on SSB too....but used that radio on the base and mobile for close to 5 years, and it ran really well with all the amps I ran it with...ran...

I run a Imax 2k here, good for what I use it for I guess, lol.....I use mine on 10m band, I don't fool with the 11m stuff anymore.... But a dipole they say talks better than a Imax does on hf, never tried that.. But guess hes talking about using it on the 11m band, lol..
