Which one
I have narrowed it down to
Make a flagpole 24' high out of pvc and have the Imax 2000 inside with the feed point on the ground or a 102" whip on a 4'x6' sheet of metal on top of the carport. They are the only two options I have!
Which do y'all think would be better ?
Thanks

I have a Imax 2000 I no longer have use for because of restrictions in our park. I will swap it for a 102" whip plus something that brings the value to around equal.
Thanks

After all y'all suggestions I'm still don't know what to do yet !
Can I take a long wire ( the length of the mobile home ) and run it on the peak the whole length somehow?
I'm open for anything right now.
Thanks +
Can ya explain how to do that. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
I already have a 20' telescopic aluminum flag pole.
I can't do radials cause they would be seen ..
I appreciate all you guys/gals help.
I'm used to Missouri and have my Imax 2000 50' up a tree.
Bless y'all
Around 20'
Can I take the top section off and use the bottom two on my Imax 2000? If I still had my antron 99 it would have been perfect.
Thanks

no trees. I tried a dipole in the carport and no good.
What about the height. The feed point will be near the ground !!
I might swap my Imax 2000 for a Antron 99. There is six foot difference.
Thanks

Whats y'all opinion about putting the Imax inside a pvc flagpole? The park has no antennas of any kind.
Will it tx and rx from inside?
I know higher the better but the feedpoint would only be a foot off the ground.
Bless yas +
Hi to all !!!
I didn't know what to put as the topic title but I guess it speaks for itself !!
Does or has anyone ever saw a type of antenna mast other than tip over that if ya are expecting high winds
it can be lowered about 10ft in a short amount of time.
Any ideas or inventions ?
Thanks
God...
I called Dosy and spoke to George and he said to turn R11 pot for the swing.
I did that comparing it to my friends good meter and it's perfect now.
George said it must of slipped by the calibration dept. when shipped.
I too have a brand new Dosy 4001 and it works great except on pep it wont swing past 350 watts.
My friends two 4001's will swing to 550 watts on my amp.
Any thoughts or tricks???
Thanks
