I read that you use aircraft grade pop rivets when you assemble an antenna.... How many rivets do you use at each joint ???? Do you use no-ox on the joints first ???? Do you seal afterward with silicone ??? Appriciate the info.....

I turn my Maco 3 element with it. So far so good.... My tower has a thrust bearing, so that takes alot of the load off the rotor....

I use one of these little guys, it works great.... Plenty of heat to get the solder flowing, but you can concentrate the heat, so your not melting the jacket.

The Palstar WM150M has worked well for me..... I run my 12 pill on 16 volts into it everyday, and no problems... The 12 on on a peak reading meter does 3K easy.

I do not believe that the slight difference in the design of the feed point would ever be seen on the recieve end of the average Joe Cb'er's "S" meter. The I-10K is a nice antenna, however it's overpriced..Plain and simple. If you want to talk about build quality, sure the 10K is strong...

Please explain how the I-10K is better than the Wolf .64 wave. Lets see some math to prove this ??? What a joke....You could swap antenna's and an operator on the other end would never see a difference.
